Andy Cohen to step down as executive at Bravo to become a producer – WWHL renewed for two more seasons
We all know the story of how Bravo executive Andy Cohen started doing this little online talk show with some of the networks personality and called it Watch What Happens Live.
It soon became a weekly talk show on television and now it’s on five nights a week.
Andy the executive became Andy the TV star.
Deadline Hollywood reports that Andy is now stepping down from his post as head of development for Bravo Media and launching a production company called Most Talkative – the title of his recent memoir.
Andy will develop and pitch projects to all NBCUniversal networks, broadcast and cable which includes, of course Bravo.
Watch What Happens Live has also been renewed for two more years and he will keep hosting those circus-like Bravo’s reunions and specials and serve as executive producer on The Real Housewives franchise.
Andy tells Deadline: “The thing is consistent about the work that I have done is finding great people whom I love and telling their stories in a different way.”
