Andy Cohen a dad? He’s thinking about it!

Footloose and fancy free Andy Cohen is thinking about starting a family.

The Watch What Happens Live host says he is opening himself up ‘to love and a relationship and maybe a kid.’

‘I think I’m closer to that spot than I ever was,’ Cohen said during an interview on The Today Show earlier today.

Although Cohen, 48, has been quietly dating a younger guy for more than a year, he doesn’t feel like he needs to be in a relationship to become a parent.

‘I feel like I can just do it,’ he said. Cohen is promoting his new book titled Superficial: More Adventures From the Andy Cohen Diaries.

He is more candid in this book than his first volume of diaries from two years ago and knows he will get knocked off of some Christmas cards lists.

Among the revelations are his stepping into the middle of a Taylor Swift-Katy Perry feud, his turning down a brunch invitation from Oprah and passing on a chance to see Cher’s bedroom.

‘I feel like I want to be transparent and people are expecting this to be real and it is,’ he said.

‘I really went there and I name names and I want people to love it as much as I do. I don’t know if I’ll do another.’

Anderson Cooper’s BFF believes he has learned a lot about himself through working on the books.

‘I’m the least introspective person typically but the course of writing this diary actually for three years has made me think about things in a totally different way.’
