I kinda thought the last we’d see of Dick Cheney was the former VP in his wheelchair at the inauguration, lurking in the background. Now he’s EVERYWHERE! Cheney’s supportive comments this week on same-sex marriage have only served to make President Barack Obama’s silence on that and other LGBT issues even more deafening. On his CNN show last night, Anderson Cooper talked to author-blogger Andrew Sullivan about all of that and more.

Sullivan makes a good point on Cheney who, he said, was merely answering a question asked of him: “This man was part of an administration that really tried to pass a constitutional amendment to ban all marriages … He’s never done anything to promote the rights of his daughter.”
