Anderson Cooper’s boyfriend is photographed kissing another man in a New York park
Anderson Cooper finally came out publicly this year and explained that one of the reasons why he never did before was that as a journalist, he just wants to tell stories, not be the story. So these photos in the Daily Mail of Anderson’s long-term boyfriend Ben Maisani passionately kissing another man have got to be a big of a drag. Who knows if the couple have an open relationship or not but even if they do, it’s now clear that they are now a tabloid target.

Seeing the additional online photos I feel really sorry for Anderson. Having a successful busy career and talk show and living with a hunky bartender stud like Ben, “Keeping It/Him Honest” is very difficult at best! Hope things work out for them.

Maybe Maisani didn’t take in good spirit Cooper asking for a prenuptial agreement. And he decided to be as hurtful as possible before breaking up. Just maybe, among many possible reasons to be so obviously blatant with such theatrical and public display. Or maybe he wanted to state that they were never “that” together. But I guess we will keep guessing as Cooper is not likely to spill the beans.

I find this speculation, if not an ‘interesting perspective’, what I find very difficult to wrap my mind around is the last sentence! “It’s likely AC was humiliated by the photos, not Maisani’s extracurricular smooching, as the two have had some wiggle room in their relationship for quite some time. (Nothing wrong with that.)”

I feel so very sorry for Anderson’s Mother. Having two sons, she (AND Anderson) had to WATCH when Anderson’s brother committed the MOST HORRENDOUS suicide in front of them both, as he hurled himself out of his Mother’s High-Story window in her Penthouse apartment. And THEN – (and while I’m sure that she has known for years that Anderson is ‘Gay’ – and loves him NO LESS because of it!!) – to have this SORDID story about her son’s homosexuality finally be “FORCED” to ‘Come Out’ (after his ‘boyfriend’ had tacky photographs of himself -and in a PUBLIC PLACE!) being splattered all over the covers of the sleaziest of magazines – may FINALLY be just “TOO MUCH”, at her now advanced age. (And HERE was a woman – ALWAYS of GREAT beauty & dignity, knowing “All” of ‘The Best’ people, and living a life of sheer luxury, with suitors from her past being among the “MOST ENVIABLE” of men from the “Highest Layers of Society”!) And while I’m POSITIVE that she loves her only remaining son JUST as much as ANY Mother CAN – NO Mother “jumps for SHEER JOY” when her son turns out to be a Homosexual. COULDN’T she have had AT LEAST ONE son who she could have ‘delightedly’ discussed over lunch with all of her girlfriends, PROUDLY showing off photos of a son with a “Loving Wife”, with two or three adorable Grandchildren!?! But no matter WHAT your stand is on Gay people (and being female – my BEST friends all through my entire life have ALWAYS turned out to be GAY men – so there’s NO ‘prejudice’ here!!) – You’d think she (SILENTLY!) ‘just WISHES’ that she’d have had JUST “ONE SON” who’d have turned out like “The Majority” of the rest of public is (including herself!)- heterosexual. And while I think that it’s “GREAT” that Anderson says that “He’s never been happier” and while I also know that “What Mothers want MOST for their children” is for them to just “BE HAPPY” – I bet that ‘Deep Down – Inside Her Heart’ – Anderson’s Mother IS NOT as happy as she’d been when her boys were young and their lives were all still ahead of them (since they ALREADY had advantages ‘most boys’ DIDN’T have – that being – coming from a MOST “Prominent Family”, with “NO” ‘Money Worries’ ahead for them. But NOW – the memories she has to carry around with her CAN’T BE as “HAPPY” as her memories “might” have been, if both of her son’s lives had turned out to be different.
