Anderson Cooper tells guest: “You’re dreadful”
Anderson Cooper was not having a giggle fit when he had a woman on his daytime talk show who injects Botox into her daughter to keep the 15-year-old girl from sweating while performing.
Anderson could not hide his disgust and cut the interview short.
“I try to be polite to all of my guests, but I think you’re dreadful,’ he said to the woman. “And I honestly don’t want to talk to you anymore.”
Okay, the woman really was dreadful. But didn’t Anderson know what she was all about when she was booked into the show?
Kind of seems like a ratings stunt to me. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Well he has been a two time Jeopardy winner and is currently nominated for two Emmys for his day time talk show — do I hear pump those ratings. Like his AC360 and his intelligence on Jeopardy the first time and second. Let’s hear it for the $50,000 for the Trevor Project.

I thought exactly the same. Anderson is not a newbie and he knows very well who he invites, he is not the one that “accidentally has a guest who happens to reveal a completely new fact out of the blue”, what he did was to show and make the strongest point against such an exploitation of a minor still under an adult’s supervision. As a second effect –and this is just my very personal take on the issue- he wanted to signal: “See people, you have straight parents who are horrible and can –if they want- have a recognized marriage while you have stupendous gay parents scorned and discriminated against, just for being them.” Yeap, it is a big speculation but as a secondary effect it works, because Anderson is neither a newbie nor an improvised fool.
