Anderson Cooper survives his eighth year co-anchoring on New Year’s Eve with Kathy Griffin
Been struggling with allergies this week and toyed with just staying home last night and watching Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper on CNN.
But ended up going to a friend’s house party at the last minute so am catching some of this hilarious duo via YouTube this morning.
Entertainment Weekly live blogged it though. Among the highlights:
Anderson Cooper kicks off the show with Kathy Griffin interrupting him. And making fun of him for his L’Uomo cover shoot.
Kathy announces Taylor Swift will be a guest in 15 minutes. (She’s lying.) Anderson giggles.
Kathy quizzes Anderson about how much a stamp costs. He may know the answer, but instead of answering he giggles, hugs her, and whispers “I love you, but really I hate your guts” into her ear.
Kathy is quizzing Anderson on sports. His biggest question: When people talk about “the game,” how do people know what game it is?

Best of Video should be when she tells him to close his eyes and she paints one side of his head red and the other side blue, giving him a red, white and blue patriotic look. What a scream she is, and what a giggle Anderson has – an excellent team for a New Year’s celebration.

Cannot understand the popularity of Kathy Griffin. She has the mouth of a sewer. That alone is enough for me to change channels the minute her ugly puss comes into focus.
