Anderson Cooper striken with appendicitis, has to have ‘sudden surgery,” but back at work today

Don’t you think if you had to have emergency surgery for appendicitis that maybe you’d take at least the week off to recover and let yourself be pampered just a little bit?

Not Anderson Cooper.

The Silver Fox missed Monday’s Anderson Cooper 360 on CNN then took to Twitter to explain why: ‘I’ll be back on air tomorrow. Had an appendicitis and had to have sudden surgery last night.’

He was replaced for the night by John Berman.

The hard-working Cooper, 47, clearly loves his work.

He is not only on the air on CNN each weeknight, but he is also active on social media and is a correspondent for 60 Minutes on CBS.

He has been busy in recent weeks covering the unrest in Ferguson, Missouri after a police officer was not charged in the shooting death of an unarmed teenager as well as the growing Bill Cosby rape allegations scandal.

2 Remarks

  1. The surgeon who released him is an idiot.

  2. See what excellent health care money can buy!
