Anderson Cooper on why he ‘dated’ girls as a teen: ‘I was sort of, you know, hoping to meet their brothers’
Aren’t you glad Anderson Cooper came out publicly?
He’s just been so much more fun since then – especially on his daytime show Anderson Live.
He and producer Terence Noonan had a fun exchange on an episode this week.
When Noonan asked Cooper: ‘Hope do you know anything about what women are doing?’ it led to a playful exchange.
‘Because, unlike you, sweetie (laughs), I have had a little bit more experience in other areas other than with guys,’ Cooper sassed back.
Retorted Noonan: ‘When he says ‘a little experience,’ he means a little experience!’
Cooper, laughing, shared with the audience about ‘the few times when I would go out on a date with a girl like when I was 12, there was a lot of sharing and a lot of talking.’
He added: ‘Some of my best friends now are girls who allegedly dated me at 13 and 14, and who I didn’t really know we were dating, but they thought we were dating, and I was sort of, you know, hoping to meet their brothers.’
