Anderson Cooper goes on a wild ride with surfing daredevil Garrett McNamara, burns eyeballs

You remember a few months back when Anderson Cooper shared the story of how he burned his eyeballs while out reporting a story on the water?

Well that story, a profile of big wave surfer Garrett McNamara, is going to air on 60 Minutes Sports tomorrow night on Showtime.

We see Anderson on a jet ski with Garrett and at one point fall off of it.

But that mishap is nothing compared to later when he got back to his hotel room and his eyes started burning.

“It turned out I had burned my eyeballs,” he says.
