An extended preview of HBO’s very promising new series “Looking” which premieres in January

Sorry for not posting this sooner – got sidetracked by Christmas shopping and wrapping and tamale eating and all the holiday stuff.

A few Sundays ago, I attended the most wonderful party in LA where HBO screened the first two episodes of its new series Looking which premieres on January 19.

It completely lived up to my expectations and I hear subsequent episodes are even better. Think Sex and the City set in San Francisco with gay men who are friends navigating singledom together.

The cast is terrific with Jonathan Groff poised to be the real breakout superstar. He’s the Carrie Bradshaw in my view and he’s first rate.
