I can’t wait for you to meet THE BOYS IN THE BAND, director Joe Mantello’s new adaptation of Mart Crowley’s groundbreaking 1968 play about gay friendship and chosen family. The Netflix film, produced by @mrrpmurphy , reunited our entire cast from the Broadway revival. I love this group so much- and I love that we are announcing it on the playwright Mart Crowley’s (pictured seated in front) birthday. He’s one of the most courageous and amazing people I’ve ever known. THE BOYS IN THE BAND premiers globally on Netflix on 30 September. Slide to see some first look stills from the film. @netflixfilm
