Alexis Arquette goes after Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith in Facebook rant: “Outing is healthy”

Alexis Arquette has attacked Will Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, in a Facebook rant over their complaints that this year’s Academy Award nominations lacked diversity.

The transgender sister of Oscar winner Patricia Arquette wrote in a scathing post: ‘When Jada comes out as Gay and her beard husband admits his first marriage ended when she walked in to him butt servicing his Sugar Daddy ..then I will listen to them.’

Arquette added: ‘Will threw a fit on the set of Six degrees of Separation when he was required by the scene to kiss Anthony Rapp. He persuaded the director to shoot the back of his head in frame. Blocking the non existent lip lock entirely. Fuck him.’

The rant concluded this way: ‘Gays have enemies. They lurk in gilded closets.Outing is healthy. You are either with or against us. You decide. Today.’

The Smiths have not commented on the rant.

Arquette has appeared in more than 40 films including playing a Boy George-like singer in The Wedding Singer and supporting roles in Pulp Fiction, Threesome and The Bride of Chucky.

She is the sibling of actors Rosanna Arquette, David Arquette, and Patricia Arquette. Her transition from male to female was documented in the film Alexis Arquette: She’s My Brother which debuted at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival.

Arquette made headlines in the summer of 2014 when she claimed to have slept with Oscar winner Jared Leto while she was still presenting as a male.

3 Remarks

  1. Hey Alexis, this is about racial representation in the Oscars, not your beef with the Smiths about LGBT issues. Whether Will Smith provided stud service to his “sugar daddy” or if Jada is a lesbian is between Will and Jada.

As for the Oscars, they’re all about promotion and popularity and rarely have to do with real talent. Just look through the long history of Oscar winners and best picture films compared to other films of their respective year and it’s apparent.

And yes, Black, Hispanic, Asian, and real LGBT people who are out(not actors playing LGBT characters) are underrepresented or nonexistent in the Academy Award acting categories. The industry should be ashamed of itself.

  2. This Oscar protest is simply RIDICULOUS, and I also hate Will and Jada.

  3. @Joe-Why is it ridiculous?
