Alec Baldwin hurls gay slur at photographer

Okay, it is understandable that Alec Baldwin would be protective of his family – especially his baby.

But the 30 Rock star has got to learn to express his displeasure with photographers that get too close without using a gay slur.

Today outside his Manhattan apartment, Alec chased a guy down for getting too close – the whole thing captured by TMZ cameras – then said as he headed back to his car: ‘Cocksucking fag.’

There are so many other things to call people when you are angry and yet, this is what came into Alec’s brain and out of his mouth.

No excuse.

6 Remarks

  1. This is a person who is being talked up as the next great hope for the Dem party? He has been talked about as a great liberal who we should be all be hoping and wishing for? NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. I don’t know if that is a slur. It’s what I am, not with strangers, but with friends. And my friends to whom I am attracted tell me that I am good at it.

  3. We should hold him accountable just as we would any other homophobic douche bag.

  4. Alec Baldwin has always thought calling people gay is the vilest insult.

“In 1992, Baldwin called a horse-drawn-carriage driver a “faggot” for supporting the expansion of carriage rides outside of Central Park. In September of 2011, Baldwin referred to a Starbucks barista as an “uptight queen.” In June of 2012, Baldwin called Daily News editor-in-chief Colin Myler an “English Queen.” In June of 2013, Baldwin called Daily Mail journalist George Stark a “toxic little queen” who would “dig it” if Baldwin stuck his foot up his ass.”

Greg, Alec has never been gay-friendly. Hell, he’s never been gay tolerant. So yes, I agree with you that there are a hundred other things you can call people when you’re angry at them (I personally think fuckwad fits any occasion), but I’m not surprised that Baldwin has yet again tried to put someone down by calling them gay. That’s just how he thinks. He’s Mel Gibson without the Catholic Republican “excuse”.

  5. GLAAD’s Ross Murray reacts: “I don’t know what he’s thinking when he says what he says. I know he’s someone who has worked with us in the past. That’s why it gets hard when he comes back and does the same thing over and over again. We will have to take some time and think about how to respond.”

  6. Paula Deen said the N word 30 years ago and her career is finished. Baldwin says the F word regularly and is still Hollywood’s darling.
