AIDS LifeCycle: It’s red dress day!
The 2700+ participants in AIDS/LifeCycle 2012, the worlds largest HIV/AIDS fundraising event, are no doubt working hard to complete theoir 545-mile cycling experience from San Francisco to Los Angeles.
But that doesn’t mean they aren’t having plenty of fun along the way!
Thursday was Dress in Red Day (aka “Red Dress Day”) and here are some images of the riders in their special attire. As the story goes, the idea originated from the notion that on Day Five’s winding hills, the riders would appear from afar as a giant red ribbon. Here is a LINK to more pics!
Editor’s Note: This is one in a series of posts this week about AIDS LifeCycle which will conclude Saturday in Westwood.
If you want to ride in next year’s event, you can save $40 on registration by using codes GayStarNews or GIH by Monday, June 11. To register, click HERE.
