You didn’t think she’d go away did you?

Fired Miss California Carrie Prejean is going to be like Sarah Palin and Elisabeth Hasslebeck – dimwitted conservatives pretty on the outside and very ugly on the inside. And like Palin who also seemed to focus more on the limelight than actually doing her job, Prejean is writing a book to be called Still Standing.

Regnery Publishing announced a book deal with the anti-gay marriage Miss USA runner-up

The book will tell Prejean’s side of the controversy surrounding her reign as Miss California USA and her answer at the Miss USA pageant who is so publicly against gay marriage. The press release states: “The unprecedented personal attacks that ensued eventually culminated in Prejean being stripped of her Miss California crown. But the 22-year-old won the respect of millions for modeling something other than evening gowns and swimsuits — the courage of standing up for her convictions.

The announcement claims that Carrie will answer such riveting  questions as: What happened behind-the-scenes at the pageant; why she answered Perez Hilton pageant question the way she did;  what really led to her losing her crown and- get this -  “how she has been forced to battle the left’s double-standard on free speech and the bias against conservatives – particularly conservative women – who stand up for their beliefs.”

How about answering these questions Carrie: How I became a bigot? Why I didn’t want to do my job as Miss California? What exactly is “opposite marriage”? Why I got fake boobs? Why I posed nude? Why I can’t tell the truth no matter how hard I try? And why whenever bad things happen to me it’s never my fault?

I think maybe the book should be called Still Annoying.

BIG BROTHER SLURS EDITED OUT: Speaking of annoying, racial and anti-gay slurs were being hurled on CBS’ Big Brother show and witnessed by viewers watching the 24-7 live feed.

But on Sunday’s show, the racial slur said by Braden Bacha (pictured, left) was edited out of the network broadcast as were anti-gay slurs that came from the mouth of Jeff Schroeder during an argument with another houseguest.

CBS has released this statement: “Any views or opinions expressed in personal commentary by a houseguest appearing on ‘Big Brother,’ either on any live feed from the house or the broadcast, are those of the individuals speaking and do not represent the views or opinions of CBS or the producers of the program.”
