Afternoon Greg: Gearing up to see Huey Lewis and the News in concert for first time in 20 years!

Hello all!

It’s been quite a day including my annual physical at the Pacific Oaks Medical Center in Beverly Hills. They make what could be a stressful experience quite efficient. Got through that but then had a really stressful experience: LA traffic!

Had to drive to Newport Beach because I am joining my friends Danny Sullivan and Lorna Harris for tonight’s Huey Lewis and the News concert at the Pacific Ampitheatre. I haven’t seen them perform live since 1988 when my college pal Mike and I decided at the last minute to drive to the San Diego Sports Arena to see if we could get tickets. We got nosebleeds but it was such a wonderful show – Huey just get played and played and seemed to not want to leave the stage.

So tonight will take me back to my 20s – wonderful time in my life even if I was mostly in the closet!
