Addition of Sean Hayes can’t save CBS sitcom “The Millers” – show has been cancelled
Sean Hayes is part of the cast of one of the most memorable sitcoms of all time.
But finding a follow-up hit sitcom has been a problem for the Emmy-winning Will & Grace star.
CBS has cancelled The Millers, sitcom that Sean joined in its second season. This comes after NBC cancelled Sean Saves The World last spring.
I quite liked Sean Saves the World and was sorry to see it go. I checked out The Millers this week and did not love it although it was nice to see Sean and real-life buddy Will Arnett share the screen.
The Millers had been CBS’s highest-rated new series of the 2013-14 season but that was when it had The Big Bang Theory as a lead-in.
The Millers stars Arnett as newly divorced reporter Nathan, whose mother (Margo Martindale) moves in with him when her own 43-year marriage to his father (Beau Bridges) ends.

James says:
I truly loved this show. It made me laugh out loud. Sean didn’t contribute much, but he didn’t detract from the show either. BTW, please extensively cover Sean’s upcoming nuptials.
K. Martinez says:
I thought the “The Millers” was pretty funny last year, but in its second season it seemed to have lost something. Too bad.
Michael Kricfalusi says:
Sean is one of television’s comedic geniuses and it’s a shame his “Sean Saves The World” wasn’t given a chance to let an audience find it. On to something new for him and there will be something new.
Bob says:
Will Arnett is NOT – repeat – NOT FUNNY!!! I couldn’t watch ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT because of him – he’s a showkiller and shouldn’t be anywhere near a camera or soundstage – GO BACK TO CANADA!!!
