Adam Rippon unboxes his surprise Emmy!

In 2018, Adam Rippon became the first out gay man to make a US Winter Olympic team and the first to win a medal at the Winter Games (a Bronze in the team event). Then later that year, his winning streak continued as he won season 26 of Dancing with the Stars with professional dancer Jenna Johnson.

Adam has since gone in to charm us on Instagram and, it turns out, has grown his usually close-cropped hair out to reveal his adorable curls.

Oh, and it turns out he also won an Emmy his didn’t know he was up for! Adam, listed as an “Events Analyst,” was part of the NBC Sports team that won the Emmy for coverage! The Emmy arrived at his house revently and he posted a video on Instagram of himself opening the box and seeing it for the first time.
