Adam Rippon loses his grandma to Covid-19: “If yours is still around give her a call and say hi from me”

This is my beautiful grandma. She passed away earlier this week from Covid19. She was really the best. One of my favorite memories of her was this; Every Christmas we would always have dinner with my entire family (which is huge) and one Christmas my grandma decided she wasn’t going to get dressed up so she bought and wore a T-shirt that looked like she was wearing a tuxedo. When I tell you there was nothing funnier than watching my grandma wearing a tuxedo T-shirt while drinking Chardonnay, you have to believe me. I loved her so much. She made me laugh all the time and she would shove 5 dollars into my pocket and tell me that if I told my mom she would kill me. The last few years of her life were tough as she battled with dementia and I am grateful that now she’s at peace. Grandmas are the best. If yours is still around give her a call and say hi from me… and buy them a tuxedo T-shirt (you won’t regret this)
