Are you tired of the whole Adam Lambert American Music Awards brouhaha yet? I’m not! But I may be soon!
Adam talked about his controversial performance with Ellen DeGeneres on Tuesday and for the first time, is beginning to sound a lot less defiant telling Ellen he “forgot that this was the first time people were seeing me on TV again after ‘Idol.'”
Then he said: “I think in hindsight, I look back on it and I go, ‘Ok, maybe that wasn’t the best first impression to make again or the first second impression.'”
Adam is also not dissing ABC,. which aired the awards, for canceling his Good Morning America concert scheduled for last week: “They gave me a great opportunity to close the AMA’s and I would never want to smack that gift force in the mouth. I think that they were taking a big leap of faith having me do that and unfortunately it didn’t work out as we all thought it would.”
