Adam Lambert talks to TV Guide about the cover of his hotly anticipated new CD “For Your Entertainment”

TV Guide’s new “The Hot List” issue arrived in my mailbox yesterday and it includes a little chat with Adam Lambert.

The release date of Adam’s new CD For Your Entertainment is still more than a week away! Good God, release it already!

Adam addresses the controversy over the album’s cover image: “I think it’s funny! It was supposed to feel kitschy like Bowie or Boy George. I did the Details magazine cover , which was the total other end of the spectrum. The thing that bums me out is I don’t know why it’s so confusing.  I just took a pretty picture and put on some makeup. How does eye-liner or slicked back hair have anything to do with who you’re sleeping with?”

But as far as the music goes, the response to what has been heard so far has been terrific: “My single just came out and I went to a club the other night and one of the people was like ‘You should get the DJ to play your song.’ It was really cool. They were dancing, so that’s a good sign.”
