Adam Lambert named breakout star in Out 100!
What I find really cool about this latest kudo for Adam Lambert is that even if he were not gay, he w0uld be a shoo-in to be breakout star of 2009 in pretty much any credible list.
But he is gay and that means he has landed in the Out 100 list as breakout star of the year.
Adam’s debut album, For Yiour Entertainment, will finally come out next week after months of hype. It caps off a heady year that saw him become a sensation on American Idol with his popularity continuing to rise even though he finished as runner-up to Kris Allen. He’s appeared on the covers of Rolling Stone and Details and had his love life covered breathlessly by the tabloids.
Here’s what he had to say to Out about his sexy image: “To some people, me being sexual is really offensive because I’m gay. They’re like, ‘He’s being really gay.’ And I’m like, ‘No, I’m just being sexual.’ Male sexuality is frightening to America [but] female sexuality is all over the place.”
Keep fighting the good fight Adam!

I really do think he has a voice people want to hear! Just wish he would be a voice for gays ~ but that’s his choice!
