Adam Lambert: “Anyone find it interesting how straight male pop stars are pandering to gay audiences lately!?”
It’s not lost on Adam Lambert that some straight male pop stars are aggressively courting gay male fans.
He’s not naming names but he’s got to be talking about gorgeous Nick Jonas who is all the rage right now among gays and straights.
Or One Direction’s Harry Styles who seemed to hint in a recent interview that he might be bisexual.
Adam asked his Twitter followers this week: “Anyone find it interesting how straight male pop stars are pandering to gay audiences lately!? Should we be flattered? Progress or strategy?”
He follows up by insisting he’s not throwing shade at anyone but says he just wants to hear music and not be teased about whether someone is gay or bisexual or straight.
“Who cares?” Adam tweets.

“Lately”?
I can understand why he wouldn’t be familiar with Pete Townshend’s “Rough Boys” or The Kink’s “Lola”, but it’s hard to imagine that he’s never heard of Glam Rock or Marc Bolan and T Rex, not to mention obscure old timers like Mick Jagger and David Bowie.

Sounds like Adam’s throwing shade to me. Nothing more boring that one artist dissing another artist. Sounds like Adam’s become a little insecure.
