A look back at Helen Reddy’s acting roles in “Airport 1975,” “Pete’s Dragon” and on TV and stage
Helen Reddy, who died earlier this week at age 78, was a huge pop star in the 1970s with such classic hits as I Am Woman, Delta Dawn, Angie Baby, Ruby Red Dress, and Ain’t No Way to Treat A Lady, among others.
But she also was an actress who starred in the memorable movie Pete’s Dragon and played a singing nun in Airport 1975. She also starred on Broadway in Blood Brothers and other stage productions and did some TV guests spots including a very silly episode of The Love Boat.
So here are some scenes from the acting career of the late, great Helen Reddy.
