A chat w/Glenn Close about “Damages”

If you are a fan of Damages then you should already know that the third season begins on FX on Monday night.

Of course there would be no show were it not for the enormously gifted Glenn Glose who has won two Emmys for her performance as the manipulative litigator Patty Hewes.

When I caught up with Miss Close earlier this week at the Television Critics Association Press Tour, she was in good spirits looking forward to the Golden Globe Awards that night.

Of what’s in store for Patty Hewes in season three she said, laughing: “Her hair is looser and longer! It’s been deconstructed a little bit.”

“I think she’s back on her game,” she added, more seriously.  “I think last season she was very, very off-balance and disturbed. But I think now she’s back but back after having gone through some pretty traumatic experiences.”
