Matt Bomer talks tearaway clothing challenges on set of all-star male stripper flick “Magic Mike”
For some reason, and I’m not sure what that reason is, I have not written very much about Magic Mike, the movie being made based on Channing Tatum’s days as a male stripper in Florida.
The movie not only stars Channing, but also Matthew McConaughey, Joe Manganiello, and Alex Pettyfer. Oh yeah, and White Collar hunk Matt Bomer who would be worth the price of admission alone.
In this interview with MTV News, Matt talks about the challenges of wearing a thong and handling tearaway clothing. It’s a very entertaining interview and made me wish I was on the set when Matt was experiencing these challenges!
The film is being directed by Steven Soderbergh and is scheduled for a 2012 release.
The MTV interview took place during press day for Matt’s upcoming film, In Time, but the interviewer couldn’t resist asking about Magic Mike.

Is there being a lot of promo in print about this movie like no other?? I remember the days when a movie was promoted on tv, the movie was soo bad. Now with movie trailers being played on tv for promo, the trailer shows the best bits of the movie. Like most of the actors in this movie for various reasons but am beginning to wonder about all this advance all the talk in print…
