Diana Ross a sensation at Hollywood Bowl!

Diana Ross at Hollywood Bowl last night was an absolute highlight of what has been so far a very fun summer.
She did all kinds of her hits including the Supremes classics Stop! In the Name of Love, Baby Love, and You Keep Me Hanging On, her number one solo hits Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, Touch Me in the Morning, Theme From Mahogany, Love Hangover, Upside Down and Endless Love which was a duet with her famous daughter Tracee Ellis Ross.
She also did Home and Ease on Down the Road from The Wiz and such hits as I’m Coming Out, The Boss, Missing You, Why Do Fools Fall in Love, Chain Reaction, Reach Out and Touch and I Will Survive which had us dancing in our box.
Her oldest daughter, Rhonda Ross, introduced her father, Motown founder Berry Gordy, who was in the audience. Then Rhonda belted out a few tunes as her mom changed costumes. What a talented family.
At 81, it’s clear Miss Ross is basking in the professional and personal life she has built and she says she never plans to retire. All I can say is, she’s still got it! Thank you to my great friend Eddie for this birthday present (he got the tix in April) which I will never forget! I wore my dad’s Fedora for the first time!
