“Grease” was the word Friday night at Hollywood Bowl with a sing-a-long that kicked off with a surprise appearance by John Travolta who joined director Randal Kleiser, co-star Didi Conn and three members of the T-Birds. Lots of Pink Ladies and Beauty School dropouts in this glorious crowd.

What a blast and so much love for this classic film that just makes you so damned happy.

By next year I want to know all the impossible lyrics to the finale “We Go Together” beyond “Rama lamma, la dingity ding da dong!”
