1970s hunk Lyle Waggoner has died
Lyle Waggoner, many a gay boy’s first crush, died today at the age of 84.
The handsome actor was best-known being a regular on The Carol Burnett Show, for playing opposite Lynda Carter on Wonder Woman, and for being the first Playgirl centerfold.
He had been suffering from a long illness.
Lyle did scores of TV guest spots in throughout the 70s and 80s then retired – except for occasional appearances – to run Star Waggons, a company that leases customized trailers for use by the entertainment industry.
CNBC reported in February 2016 that Star Waggons had 800 trailers and posted annual revenue of $17 million. Waggoner said a year later that he supplied 30 trailers alone for ABC’s Dancing With the Stars.

Richard V says:
Damn, he was a great looking guy. I remember him on Carol Burnett and Wonder Woman. I wish I do to have the first Playgirl magazine, man what a prize.
RIP Lyle and thanks for the memories
