Yay! Logo to air ‘Will & Grace’ marathon featuring Debbie Reynolds’ episodes tonight!

Debbie Reynolds’ work on Will & Grace will be highlighted tonight with a marathon of episodes featuring the late Hollywood icon as Grace’s mother Bobbi Adler.

The marathon will air on Logo TV.

Reynolds appeared in a dozen episodes of Will & Grace between 1999 and 2006 in a role specifically written for her.

Bobbi is an actress and singer who appeared in local theater and could always be relied upon to have a song for every occasion.

Her performances with the Schenectady Players usually involved gender changing roles in plays such as Death of a Salesperson, The Music Person and Queen Lear.

She had a constant desire to meddle in the love lives of her daughters and created the Adler family ‘Told you so’ dance.

‘I loved being asked to be on that show, everybody was terrific,’ Reynolds told me in 2014.

‘I was so happy doing that show, the happiness was returned to me. I just had a good time. They wrote it just for me and about me. I used my own clothes, I used my fur pieces – I did my own drag.’

Logo’s Will & Grace marathon will begin at 5 pm and last seven hours.

Another Reynolds-centric Will & Grace block will air again on Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm).

The Friday marathon and will be followed by the midnight airing of a 2010 episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race on which Reynolds appeared as a judge.

Following Drag Race will be another Reynolds’ tribute with the airing of a 1997 episode of the sitcom Roseanne that was written by Reynolds’ daughter Carrie Fisher.

That will be followed by a 1991 episode of The Golden Girls on which Reynolds guest-starred as a short-lived roommate.

Fisher died on Tuesday after suffering a heart attack aboard an airplane from London to Los Angeles.

Reynolds fell ill the next day while planning her daughter’s funeral and died later Wednesday.
