Wednesday Morning Man: Shawn Hatosy!

You may recognize Shawn Hatosy but not be sure from where.

That’s because he has more than 45 television and film credits including such TV shows as Felicity, ER, Law & Order, My Name is Earl, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Hawaii-Five-O.

His movie credits include Soldier’s Girl, Alpha Dog, The Cooler, In & Out and John Q.

But it is in the past 2-3 years that the 36-year-old actor’s career has really taken off.

He played serial killer Boyd Fowler on Dexter, appeared in Public Enemies with Johnny Depp and Christian Bale and last year joined the cast of TNT’s cop series Southland.

On Southland, he plays Det. Sammy Bryant who has just been teamed with Ben McKenzie’s character of Ben Sherman.

Now that’s one good looking squad car!

    Robert Golden says:

Hatosy was excellent in Borstal Boy.

  2. Robert is correct. Borstal Boy is one of my favorite Shawn Hatosy films. He’s also one of my all-time favorite actors, along with Jeff Bridges. I predict one day he’ll win an Emmy/Oscar.

    ND Mitchell says:

He played such a good a**-hole role in Soldier’s Girl but like him on Southland. He is one of those actors who can be seem in almost every film or TV series one way or another.
