Shhh! Don’t tell anyone, but I have not seen a single episode of Downton Abbey.

I know, I know. It’s all the rage. When you feel this behind, you just hesitate to start watching it until you can settle in for a weekend marathon and get up to speed.

But I have some extra motivation now and his name is Rob James-Collier!

This gorgeous 35-year-old actor plays the role of Thomas on the show and as you can see in one of the photos below, shares a kiss with another male character.

Prior to Downton Abbey, Rob was best known for his role on Coronation Street on which he appeared from 2006-08 and won the 2007 Inside Soap Awards for sexiest male and favorite newcomer. He also won the sexiest male award at the British Soap Awards in 2007 and 2008.

In addition to his television work, Rob also appeared on the London stage in the West End production of Calendar Girls.

   I remember Rob from Coronation Street. He was excellent as a young man in love with his father’s wife. Needless to say things did not end well. Thanks for bringing him to wider attention.
