Wednesday Morning Man: Mark Moses! nights have been very good for Mark Moses who returns this next week to ABC’s Desperate Housewives in the role of Paul Young and who plays Herman “Duck” Phillips on the Emmy Award winning Mad Men.
Sure he killed that blackmailing neighbor Martha during season one of Housewives but he was provoked! It will be interesting to see what’s in store for his character now that he has returned to Wisteria Lane and moved into Susan and Mike’s house.
Mark, 52, may not be a household name but he’s been working steadily for decades in such movies as Platoon, The Doors, Born on the Fourth of July, Star Trek Voyager and Big Momma’s House 2 and he has more than 60 television credits ranging from being a regular on the short-lived comedies Grand and The Single Guy to recent guest spots on Drop Dead Diva, Castle, CSI: Miami and Human Target.
Mark was born in New York City and grew up in Evanston, Illinois. He played quarterback at for his high school in Evanston, and went on to play another year at Ithaca College in upstate New York where he majored in English before dropping out and traveling abroad.
He then got into NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, graduated with a degree in theater, and immediately landed a role in the Broadway production Slab Boys with Sean Penn and Kevin Bacon.
