Wednesday Morning Man: Jesse Brune!
Chef Jesse Brune returned to Food Network this week in the new show Private Chefs of Beverly Hills in which chefs must deal with pampered clients with all kinds of unusual requests.
The handsome and openly gay Jesse is a Le Cordon Bleu trained chef, personal trainer, and lifestyle consultant living and loving in Los Angeles, CA. He was a break-out star of Bravo’s Workout and as a chef, he has catered a wide range of events and taught cooking classes all over America.
Food and fitness aside, Jesse is the co-founder and executive director of the nonprofit organization, Project: Service L.A., which launched in early 2010.
The 30-year-old Seattle native talked to Instinct magazine a few years ago about a coming out episode that happened when he was 15: “I had a total fascination with New Kids On The Block. Mariah Carey too. It was all right there in [my] journal.”
Jesse also talked about shedding weight he gained after enrolling in the Le Cordon Bleu program at the California School Of Culinary Arts: “With all of the cooking culinary school requires, I started noticing all my friends — myself included — gaining, like 50 pounds. Not cute!”
Well, he’s sure cute now!
