Wednesday Morning Man: Jeremy Chardy!
Yes, Jeremy Chardy lost his quarterfinal match at the Australian Open today against Andy Murray but let’s look at the bright side: he gets to be today’s Morning Man!
I was watching the match on ESPN2, still recovering from the shock of Serena Williams’ loss, when this gorgeous Frenchman came strolling out to play.
Chardy, ranked 36th, was appearing in his first Grand Slam quarterfinal and had upset sixth-ranked Juan Martin del Potro a few rounds earlier.
Chardy is 25 and won the boys title at Wimbledon back in 2005, the same year he was runner-up for the boys title at the US Open.
