Wednesday Morning Man: B.J. Novak!
Attended a screening of Saving Mr. Banks last night and loved it.
One of the things I loved was B.J. Novak’s performance as Bob Sherman who with his brother, Dick, wrote the many classic songs for Mary Poppins.
Best-known known for being a writer and co-executive producer of The Office, I actually met B.J. on the red carpet of The Emmys more than four years ago and below is a photo I snapped of him (It’s the one where you can see him glistening – it was a very hot day).
While best known for his TV work, B.J.’s movie career is also going strong. He was in the cast of the terrific Inglourious Basterds and has a role in the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
B.J. is just 34 and a graduate of Harvard. He’s also a stand-up comedian, screenwriter, and director. He also recently signed a seven-figure two-book deal and will first write a fictional collection of “Woody Allen”-like stories.
