Wednesday Morning Man: Andrew Cooper!
I usually prefer Diet Pepsi but Andrew Cooper is so unbelievably sexy in his new Diet Coke commercial that I have a strong hankering for whatever he’s selling!
Andrew’s commercial, which I posted earlier this week, marks the 30th anniversary of Diet Coke and is reminiscent of the classic Lucky Vanous commercial of a few decades ago.
Andrew is a British model who in the new commercial is seen pushing a lawnmower while a group of nearby women ogle him shamelessly. One of the women sends a can of Diet Coke rolling down a hill. He picks it up, opens it and the contents come shooting out, spraying his shirt – so he removes it, revealing his well-muscled chest.
Jaws drop in the commercial – and in a lot of viewers’ homes too!
“The reaction’s been great. It’s only been out a while, but there’s definitely been a lot of hype towards it. It’s been a great thing,” Cooper tells ABC News.
In addition to modeling, Cooper runs a pet boutique and describes himself as ‘just a lucky guy … right place, right time. I’m just happy to be a part of it.’
He’s interested in acting and says the Diet Coke spot is a “nice move in that direction.”

Don’t drink diet soda! I read an article many years ago that one of the ingredients is made from petroleum products.
