Flashback Video: When Bea Arthur was Carrie Bradshaw in a parody of “Sex and the City”

The late, great Bea Arthur was born 97 years ago today.

A Tony winner (Mame) and two-time Emmy winner (Maude, The Golden Girls), Miss Arthur was a television and Broadway star whose characters of Maude, Dorothy and Vera live on forever.

One character she is not as well known for was that of Carrie Bradshaw who she memorably portrayed in a TV Land parody.

The other members of the SATC quartet were played by Sally Struthers, Katherine Helmond and Charlotte Rae.

This is a lot of fun and something I thought you all would enjoy!
