WATCH: That time Angela Lansbury grew emotional after watching video of herself onstage as Mama Rose in “Gypsy”

Came across this yesterday but had already posted Showtune Sunday. I have the soundtrack to the 1974 revival of Gypsy so I know how good Angela Lansbury sounds in it. But to be able to see her in all her glory performing Rose’s Turn is so special. In this video, the five-time Tony winner watches her younger self belting out the number with such ferocity and she adds a second of insanity that I think is delicious.
