Rachel Maddow shared the good news about being up for a Grammy but also the bad news that she’s up against awards goddess Meryl Streep in the spoken word category.

You never know Rachel. Meryl may have won three Oscars (only Katharine Hepburn has more), she’s also lost EIGHTEEN times at the Academy Awards.

Maddow also talked about how her book “Bag Man” tells the forgotten story of one of most interesting villains in politics, former Vice President Spiro Agnew.
