The last day of #WomensHistoryMonth Is also #TransDayOfVisibility. With this intersection I thought it would be perfect to once again elevate the life and work of #MarshaPJohnson. To all the trans and nonbinary folks out there I love you. I see you. You are beautiful. You are worthy. You deserve to live all your dreams out loud. Happy #tdov2018 Regrann from @lifetimetv – Nicknamed the mayor of Christopher Street, Marsha P. Johnson fiercely fought for the rights of trans people of color. She played a key role in the LGBTQ+ Rights movement in the in the 1960s Stonewall riots and co-founded STAR. This is History | Herstory, #WomensHistoryMonth Series presented by @sprint. -
