WATCH: ‘Call Me by Your Name’ star Timothee Chalamet is utterly charming on ‘Popcorn with Peter Travers’

Odds are that Gary Oldman will walk away with the best actor Oscar at the Academy Awards. But if there is an upset, I would love for it to be Timothee Chalamet who wins for his tender portrayal of a young gay man in love in Call Me By Your Name. It’s one of my favorite performances ever.

Not only is this young man – who this year was also in Lady Bird and briefly in Hostiles – so gifted as an actor but as a talk show guest he is utterly charming.
