WATCH: At a crossroads, Donny and Marie Osmond profiled on “CBS Sunday Morning”

Donny and Marie Osmond have been in show business almost as long as they’ve been brother and sister, as solo performers and as headliners of the popular “Donny & Marie” TV show in the 1970s. For the past 11 years they have been a top draw in Las Vegas. But after almost 1,700 performances, they’ve decided to bring the curtain down on themselves this November. Lee Cowan talks with them about their new challenges ahead, from Marie taking a seat at “The Talk,” to Donny’s new solo album.

4 Remarks

  1. A few words…Cut back on the “work”…Age gracefully…Yea, a little nip and tuck here and there if you need it BUT…I am old enough to follow them since my teens years…They are about the same age as me…Talented family…

  2. What other great duet acts are there anymore? Donny & Marie’s show is awesome. Great entertainers both of them. I hate to see their Las Vegas show come to a close, but understand that they both have other things they want to do. Hope they will get together again in the future.

  3. LMAO at VRC. The first thing I thought was, how much work has she had done? But I loved that show when I was a kid, and I’m extremely happy to see that they both are doing well and enjoying their lives. Keep wearing purple socks, my friends!

  4. Donny is against gay marriages and Marie is for gay marriages. They might have excited me at 9 but as an adult they are just Mormons with crazy and hurtful opinions from their cult.
