WATCH: After dumping Trump, Jennifer Holliday sings on an all-gay Atlantis cruise in Caribbean
In the span of two weeks, Jennifer Holliday went from almost singing at a Donald Trump inaugural concert to performing on an all-gay cruise.
The Tony Award winning diva was the headliner on last week’s Atlantis Events’ Caribbean cruise.
Holliday had infuriated her gay fans and others when it was announced she would be one of the singers at a concert at the Lincoln Memorial the night before’s Trump’s inauguration.
After initially defending her decision and saying she merely wanted to bring people together, Holliday backed out of the gig and apologized to her gay fans.
Atlantis reached out to her about performing after Holliday canceled on Trump.
‘The LGBT Community was mostly responsible for birthing my career and I am deeply indebted to you,’ she wrote in an open letter earlier this month.
‘You have loved me faithfully and unconditionally and for so many years you provided me with work even though my star had long since faded.’
People aboard the ship say the inauguration was not brought up by Holliday during her well-received performance, according to TMZ.
It appears that she and her gay fans have put the episode behind them.

Tommy Marx says:
Speaking for myself alone, I was not in any way “infuriated” with Jennifer. As a long time fan, I was disappointed in her decision, and I was happy when she decided not to appear after all. But she is a grown woman quite able to make her own choices, and I will support her regardless.
Sotzume says:
I would never listen to her again. Her excuse was ridiculous. Does she live in some kind of cave? I will spend my time and money elsewhere and I’d never take an Atlantis Cruise again for having her sing. Anyone supporting Trump in any way shape or form must be rejected completely.
