Video: See Neil Patrick Harris talk about road trip with David Burtka on “Later With Craig Ferguson”

Neil Patrick Harris, who appears in the new release Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore which hit theaters yesterday, dropped by Craig Ferguson this week to chat about that, about directing Rent at Hollywood Bowl next week, and filming a role in the third Harold and Kumar movie.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,nph2.jpgCraig is just delightful with Neil. When NPH says the production of Rent is going to be “fast and furious” and jokes that Vin Deisel is going to sing Out Tonight, Craig does not miss a beat and says: “One day baby, one day.”

Then they go off on a Danny Bonaduce riff that I found amusing before NPH turns his attention to Harold and Kumar 3 which he recently filmed. He says fans of the first two Harold and Kumar flicks will like the third because it’s “raw and disturbing.”

Neil also mentioned that he brought his “better half David” and their dogs on location to Detroit because David is from Detroit and his family still lives there. They took a 37 hour road trip back to LA with the pups in tow.

But the end is the best when NPH is showing off a collection of silly bands including one that looks like a rooster.

6 Remarks

  1. As a resident of Albuquerque it was so great to hear someone say something nice about Albuquerque! Thank you, NPH, for showing ABQ the love! And Craig Ferguson — it does NOT smell like vomit in ABQ. But then again, I hope you were just joking.

  2. Greg: This has wært around the web for 2 days – you should try to get things up faster…..

I loved the interview. They are always entertaining when they are together. And I always love when Neil says “my better half” David.

David was at the H & K set because he has a role in the movie – not because his family lives there. David family did have the dogs when Neil and David was working on the film!

  3. Randy, I try to get things posted as soon as I can. You should try and be more thoughtful.

  4. Greg:
I know you are busy with the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour, but, Mr Harris very clearly stated that the one dog who, in the past would get car sick, did not! And he seemed quite proud of that!

  5. Neil & David & dogs on road trip across country…….priceless….Too cute

  6. Mary, I thought the dog got sick! Well, I’ve fixed it :)
