Video: See Jason Statham compete in diving at 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland

This is a very cool “Before They Were Stars” story involving actor Jason Statham.

Long before Statham made his film debut in 1998′s Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, he was best known as a diver on the British National Diving Team.

He was good enough to finish 12th in the World Championships in 1992.

In recent days, video has surfaced of the future movie star representing England at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland, New Zealand.

The future Transporter star didn’t have such a good dive at that competition but at 20, he already had a killer physique and we get to see how the now-bald superstar looks with a full head of hair.
