Tuesday Morning Man: Sam Trammell!

There is not a show on television right now with more sexy men in the same cast as HBO’s True Blood.
Doing his part to make the hearts of straight women and gay men flutter is actor Sam Trammell who plays the role of Sam Merlotte on the vampire series.
While Blood has made Sam a star, the 39-year-old actor has been mighty busy for decades working on Broadway (including a Tony-nominated performance in Ah! Wilderness!) in films (Autumn in New York, Alien vs. Predator: Requiem) and doing guest spots on such television series as Judging Amy, Bones, CSI: NY, Cold Case and Dexter.
Sam really got us going with his recent gay love scene with co-star Stephen Moyer on True Blood. It turned out to be just some kind of homoerotic vampire dream but it was still hot! Last week on Chelsea Lately, host Chelsea Handler asked Sam how he felt about doing a love scene “with another boy” and he said jokingly: “I loved it. We’ve been itching for that since season one!”
