Tuesday Morning Man: Ryan Paevey!

ABC’s daytime soap General Hospital added a very hunky new cast member back in early 2014 and his name is Ryan Paevey.

Ryan, 33, plays the role of Nathan West, a detective working for the Port Charles Police Department. But he announced in January that he is leaving the show.

Ryan also starred in the film Unleashing Mr. Darcy earlier this year and is set to portray Adlai Stevenson in the upcoming film Bogart and Bacall about Hollywood’s legendary couple Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall.

Prior to his acting career, Ryan made quite a name for himself modeling – something he has been doing since high school.

Judging from these photos, it’s easy to see why!

3 Remarks

  1. GH already killed him off. :-)

Did you see Paul from Days and Lucas from General Hospital were the Grand Marshalls of this past weekend’s Pride Parade in Tampa?

I wish the soaps had a presence at LA Pride. It would be nice to promote the shows and increase the visibility of LGBTQ storylines on television.

  2. Daniel you’re right about increasing visibility… give Port Charles a Pride of it’s own. I wasn’t happy with Detective Nathan West being killed off, Ryan Paevey moving on to other things I can watch him on is exciting though. Ryan is sex on legs!

  3. I was at Tampa Pride and it was great to see support from Christoper (Paul) and Ryan (Lucas).

One of the few reasons to watch General Hospital was Ryan Paevey (Nathan). He was great on that soap and I can understand his reasons for leaving to further his career.

I’m surprised that Greg hasn’t reported on the fairly new character on General Hospital. Peter August (who happens to be Nathan’s brother) is played by Wes Ramsey. Ramsey played the lead role in the gay film ” Latter Days”.
