Tuesday Morning Man: Brandon Victor Dixon!

Watched Brandon Victor Dixon on The View yesterday and was so smitten.

He’s not only good looking and sexy but also so smart and thoughtful and insightful.

So how perfect that it was he who delivered the cast statement to Vice President-Elect Mike Pence on Saturday night after a performance of Hamilton.

Dixon, 35, plays the role of Aaron Burr in the smash musical.

He was previously best-known for playing the Broadway roles of Harpo in The Color Purple for which he was nominated for a Tony Award, and Berry Gordy Jr. in Motown: The Musical.

In London’s West End, he played the role of Hayward Patterson a few years ago in The Scottsboro Boys and earlier this year played the role of Eubie Blake on Broadway in Shuffle Along, or, the Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed, for which he was nominated for another Tony.

He’s invited President- Elect Donald Trump to see the show next.

2 Remarks

  1. Another great choice for “Morning Man”. Smart guy, articulate and the kind of person I want to see visible and representative of our diverse community.

Donald Trump is so thin-skinned and incapable of seeing the larger picture. I surely hope the media continues to rip him one when he has it coming each and every time. Meanwhile, white supremacists are feeling empowered by the election of president elect asshole. We will continue to fight back and stand tall.

  2. Couldn’t have said it better K. Martinez. I think trump is using this as a distraction.
