Tuesday Morning Man: Borna Coric!
At just 20, Croatian tennis pro Borna Coric is on the verge of stardom.
Earlier this year, Coric won his first ATP title at the 2017 Grand Prix Hassan II after saving five match points in the final. He reached his first two finals last season and also notched his first win over Rafael Nadal at the 2016 Cincinnati Masters.
Last week in Madrid, Coric upset top-ranked Andy Murray (his second career win over the two-time Wimbledon champ) and is currently ranked 41st in the world. He reached a career high ranking of #33 in the summer of 2015.
Before turning pro, Coric was the world’s top-ranked junior and won the US Open boys singles title in 2013.
